Water Supply Investigations Officer
The position of Water Supply Investigations Officer provides an excellent balance between field based work and an office environment.
The role involves creating operating procedures to isolate water supply assets and then project managing this process.
The Water Supply Investigations Officer is on the Water Treatment Roster where, for one week in every four, he or she must be available 24 hours a day to help manage water treatment operations.
Other projects include optimising the existing water supply system and commissioning water treatment plants.
The primary goal of the Water Supply Operations team is to ensure that drinking water entering the reticulation system is of excellent quality. The position of Water Supply Investigations Officer is one of the many important links in achieving this goal.
